Project GS750

Made a few important discoveries on the project GS750 today.

  1. The engine isn’t Frozen and has compression in all cylinders. This was the big one. From here, anything is possible.
  2. The gas tank has hardly any rust in it.
  3. Removed the seat and was amazed to find the pan is in amazingly good condition. In fact, the entire bike is hardly rusted at all.

So, with the help of PB Blaster for a few stubborn bolts and to free up the kick starter, the project GS750 is well underway. If we can replace the missing coil and throw a battery in it, this thing may fire up someday soon.
